Daily prayer Wednesday, September 16, 2020. God is your strength and hope. Blessing, and serenity prayer with the daily prayers of faith

Daily prayer for Wednesday. September 16, 2020. Serenity prayer.

When we pray the daily prayer for September 16, 2020, we will implore God to give extra strength to all of us who are tired and afflicted. Many of us may be involved in a routine spiral these days, but God has made each of us strong. In the serenity prayer for today, Wednesday, we find a numerous source of testimonies that invite us to continue to do things, to advance towards the desired goal. May we find in these prayers for healing the courage to do it well.

"Arise, O LORD; O God, lift up thine hand: forget not the humble. Wherefore doth the wicked contemn God? He hath said in his heart, Thou wilt not require [it]. Thou hast seen [it]; for thou beholdest mischief and spite, to requite [it] with thy hand: the poor committeth himself unto thee; thou art the helper of the fatherless." (Psalms 10:12-14 - Bible King James version).

Time for the Daily Prayer.

Talking to God through daily prayer for Wednesday, September 16, helps us to have a clear thought about where we should look for strength. Meditate on the reflection for Wednesday, and let us find our courage amid the ups and downs of our lives.

Daily prayer for Wednesday.

Lord God, I want to give You my heart right now to cleanse it of any distress that is causing trouble in me. Anxiety often traps me, thinking about what I cannot yet solve and keeps me worried. Oh my God, be my peace. Bless me with the grace of serenity and bring order to my thoughts so that I can achieve inner peace. Let all destructive emotion in my thoughts be stilled by your healing breath. Blow the strength of the Holy Spirit into my life and calm the storms of the sea that violently rage against my soul. Now I entrust myself Lord to your word of power. Amen. (This daily prayer belongs to our serenity prayer devotional of 2020)

"May the peace of Christ reign in your hearts, for as members of one body you have been called to peace. And be thankful." (Colossians 3:15)

Daily prayer for Wednesday. September 16, 2020.

We dispose our heart to God´s love and raise our eyes to Heaven, seeking the serenity prayer that our soul needs for this Wednesday, September 16, 2020.

God of love and goodness, come and take possession of my whole being and fill me with the strength of your love to feel free and protected under the shield of your Grace. I want to reciprocate every day of my life as you deserve, but I feel weak and burdened by complicated situations that do not let me move forward. I am convinced that You made me out of love and for love, and for that same love, You will not abandon me or leave me alone in my struggles.

Do not allow, O Lord, that the charms and fascinations of the world end up dominating my life, leading me to desolate and meaningless ways. You who have shown yourself to be close to sinners, come and draw near to me, enter my soul and give it the necessary tone that it may be a living reflection of your love. Give me the courage to live my faith in word and deed. Make me see my inconsistencies and miseries so that I may despise them and remove them from my life

I give you permission, my Lord, for the strength of your love to come and dwell in my heart, to heal and cleanse it so that I may do your will. I can only make my happiness possible with your help, the grace and divinity of your Holy Name which purifies me and gives me strength to live. Amen.

In this serenity prayer, oh Sacred Heart of Jesus, in You, I trust my routine, I trust You with my attitudes and my answers. I want to give the best of myself, so that others may know that, through my actions, You live within me. I love You. In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, Amen.

Now, in this daily prayer, let us ask for the loving and motherly intercession of Mary Most Holy and tell her with all our hearts:

Holy Virgin Mary, be my support and my guide.

Holy Virgin Mary, be the salvation of my soul.

Reflection for Wednesday, September 16, 2020.

In this daily prayer for Wednesday, let us reflect on the words of the Pope Francis to get serenity.

"... We should not grow discouraged before examples of holiness that appear unattainable. There are some testimonies that may prove helpful and inspiring, but that we are not meant to copy, for that could even lead us astray from the one specific path that the Lord has in mind for us. The important thing is that each believer discern his or her own path, that they bring out the very best of themselves, the most personal gifts that God has placed in their hearts (cf. 1 Cor 12:7), rather than hopelessly trying to imitate something not meant for them". (Pope Francis Gaudete et exsultate, I.11a.)
