Daily prayer Friday (Serenity).
My Lord, how much pain and suffering I have lived because I have not known how to give you the first place in my life. I want peace, serenity and to take action with confidence. Therefore, forgive me for wanting to do things my way and not including you in my life plan. I know that I need you, to breathe your strength into me and calm all those turbulences in my heart that do not allow me to follow you as I should. Forgive me Lord, keep my thoughts and lead me always in your ways. Amen. (This daily prayer Friday belongs to our serenity prayer devotional of 2020)
Daily prayer for Friday, September 18, 2020.
We dispose our heart to God´s love and raise our eyes to Heaven, seeking the serenity prayer that our soul needs for this Friday, September 18, 2020
Lord God, thank you for your goodness, for the gift of life and for all the things you have blessed me with. Thank you for pouring out your graces on me and mine and for giving me your protection at all times.
I want to love you and serve you as you deserve, not because I must fulfill your commands, but because I assume them as an act of eternal gratitude. Your commandments are ladders of love to reach you and the Father. And of them, I want to avail myself because they are the true route to my happiness.
O my God, help me to be consistent with what I say and do and to abide in your Truth. If I aspire to be part of your flock I must comply with this way of living, under your loving guidance. I am willing to announce you in word and deed. I must strive to follow your way of life.
Help me to follow in your footsteps, to turn away from all evil that seeks to break this bond of love between You and me. Help me to straighten my ways, to open my heart and bring love to others, overcoming all difficulties knowing that I am protected by your power.
I believe in your commandments Lord, I believe that they are an alliance between your divinity and my humanity. I want to practice it, live it, and feel it to the fullest in order to live and feel you in every moment of my life.
I pray now that You will guide my actions with the Holy Spirit, to make the right decisions and to move towards You feeling free from all fear and anxiety. Amen
In this serenity prayer, Sacred Heart of Jesus, in You, I trust my routine, I trust You with my attitudes and my answers. I want to give the best of myself, so that others may know that, through my actions, You live within me. I love You. In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, Amen.
Now, in this daily prayer, let us ask for the loving and motherly intercession of Mary Most Holy and tell her with all our hearts:
Holy Virgin Mary, be my support and my guide.
Holy Virgin Mary, be the salvation of my soul.
