Pray the daily prayer for May 4, 2020 to affirm our confidence in placing ourselves in God´s hands. We know that God takes into account those who love him, the righteous at heart. However hard the heart may be, the fire of that love of God can transform it, renew it, heal it and give it new hope for life. Today´s reflection Monday tells us that, from this encounter with God, we learn to communicate love. With these daily prayers, let us not stop at this mission of life and happiness.

"The souls of the righteous are in God´s hands, and no torment will affect them. (Wisdom 3:1)

Time for the Daily prayer.

A heart that needs God´s love is like the servants who need the calm waters of the prairies in order to live. Allow God´s breath to transform your heart. Pray the daily prayer for May 4, and ask that you may be freed from all bad emotions that are often found to be cluttered in our prisons of grudges within the heart. We meditate on today´s reflection Monday by handing over our concerns. Love and be free.

Daily Prayer for May 4, 2020.

Spirit of God, Creator Spirit, You who make all things new and fill the weak with strength, I want to tell you today that I need you in my heart. I need you to come with the strength of your love, with your breath of life and transformation so that you may change in me all that I have not been able to change with my own strength.

Come and live in my heart, make Him your eternal dwelling place so that He may have a new life. Even if I feel your transforming flames burning within me, I know that it will be for my good. You have said that sometimes faith, to be tested, must pass through fire.

I no longer want to remain immobile in front of my situations of pain, of past grudges I still keep alive, of deep wounds I have not been able to heal.

I want to live according to your word, and that my will be guided by your instruction of life to take new paths and transform those actions that are not aligned with the purposes for which you have created me, and which, moreover, are not doing me any good.

You are the God of Hope, the God Almighty. There are no impossibilities for You, there is no wall that will not be broken down before Your Presence, there is nothing and no one that can overcome Your supreme power. And there is no hard heart that can resist the transforming fire of your love.

I thank You for having given me the privilege of knowing Your glorious power, of knowing that force that enlivens hearts. That is why I give you my soul, I put my whole life in your hands. Give me strength enough to endure the tribulations of life so that I am never tempted to give up.

You give me opportunities in life to do better, and you give them to me in abundance. You generously reward those who rise up when they have fallen and recognize their limitations, which without your love they can do nothing. Thus do I acknowledge myself to you. I recognize your wonders, your miracles and your promises.

Although great challenges continue to come into my life, which seem to challenge me with overwhelming despair, I will fear nothing. You are my good Shepherd, you will not let me be lost and if I fall, you will be by my side to lift me up and lead me through green pastures.

I want to be filled with your strength now, and above all, with your Wisdom, so that I can face this situation that sometimes I feel demoralized, that I am mentally and emotionally exhausted, that I cannot see clearly this promising future for me and my family.

For all this, Lord, I always have recourse to You. Even though I feel that my resources are being exhausted and my spirit is being weakened, I understand that you are working in my heart, you are making me new inside so that I can be filled with those great, unimaginable things.

After all, You have assured me that, if I persevere, I will achieve all those promises of success in the time You have planned for me. So I continue to strive to build a better world. I begin with my attitudes, with love for my people, in my home.

Help me to always lean on the Truth of your Word, that healing Word that gives strength to the weary and soothes troubled hearts. I am certain that, at your side, and with all my efforts, I will be able to give the fruits I need to see all the beauty that awaits me next to You

Sacred Heart of Jesus, strength and renewal of my soul, I entrust this day to you along with everything you have planned for me. I entrust to you the good and bad moments, I know you will be working within me so that I may develop patience and discipline. I love you my sweet Heart.

Today´s Reflection, Monday, May 4, 2020

"Only thanks to this encounter, or re-encounter, with the love of God, which becomes a happy friendship, are we rescued from our isolated conscience and from self-referentiality. We become fully human when we are more than human, when we allow God to take us beyond ourselves to reach our truest self. Therein lies the source of evangelizing action. Because, if someone has welcomed that love which gives back to him the meaning of life, how can he contain the desire to communicate it to others?"

Daily Prayer intentions for May 4.

Through the daily prayer for May 4, we have been able to learn that God has great mercy towards us. He gives us opportunities again and again to do things right. He fills us with that fire inside, that living flame of transformation and power that we sometimes don´t even feel, but that we know is there, smoothing out our roughness. With these daily prayers of faith and today´s reflection, Monday, may we have a personal encounter with Christ, our Good Shepherd, who loves us and sacrifices himself with sweetness so that we may undertake this struggle at his side.
