Lord, I want your loving presence to cover me when I encounter those obstacles that prevent me from seeing all those blessings that await me when I entrust myself to your hands. I need your strength to say NO, when I am tempted to surrender to those situations that I cannot control in any way and that, because of my own weaknesses of spirit, I cannot take those strong steps to overcome the fear that holds my heart in sadness of death.

Lord, I feel very insecure about what I am facing. Please guide me and help me to cope with this situation that seems to get darker every day. Give me your blessing and grant me your peace in the midst of this storm that peace which only you can give. Come with your shadow of power to keep me company, to stand by me and to sustain me in the midst of my worries. I know I can trust your Father´s love that will not let me down. I need your strength not to stop, to keep moving towards that achievement you have already prepared for me. Give me the courage to overcome this fear that wants to lock my heart in a cage of loneliness and anxiety.

You are my rock Lord, I run towards you, believing that you will hold me and raise my fallen and exhausted arms. I know that your joy will pour into my life to consume my weakness, take away all my discouragement and make me stronger as I meet you more and more. Put Your peace in my heart so that I can give kind and loving answers, even in the midst of my broken emotions, for I want to live my faith in the right way.

I will not let myself be overcome by my limitations. Nor will I give up just because I´ve had some failed attempts. I know that, despite my shortcomings, I have your blessing that helps me to do my best to overcome them. Lord, let nothing and no one, no circumstance, high, low or on the horizon, take away my desire to excel and do good. I trust in your fatherly protection. Amen
