Devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Daily prayer for June 21

During one of Jesus´ mystical apparitions to St. Margaret Mary Alacoque, she had an extraordinary revelation of Jesus with his five wounds "shining like suns", as she showed him her heart burning with love for humanity. She revealed to him her dismay and sadness that her unwavering love is often ignored and even treated with indifference. Jesus asked Margaret Mary to make up for the ingratitude of so many by receiving Holy Communion more often, and particularly on the first Friday of each month. In the daly prayer for June 21, we want to ask God to intervene so that we can get out of the confusions in which we are immersed and which do not allow us to develop in a healthy way.

Daily Devotion for June, 21.

Jesus said to Saint Margaret Mary, "Here is this heart that has loved men so much that it has spared nothing, even to the point of spending and consuming itself to show them its love. And in return, I only receive from most men ingratitude for their irreverence and sacrileges and the coldness and contempt they have for me in this Sacrament of love... I will grant to all those who will go to communion on the first Friday of nine consecutive months the grace of final repentance; my Divine Heart will become their safe refuge in that hour". For the daily devotion for June 21, we hand over this weight of confusion that we have on our shoulders and place it in God´s hands.

Daily Prayer to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

For the daily prayer for June 21, we present this nest of confusion that has taken hold of our minds and hearts. We cannot take a coherent direction, we are confused without knowing what to do. Jesus knows this and wants to solve it.

Father, I stand before you now, my heart confused by so many different sensations. I also want to give you my mind, which is scattered, overloaded with so many things that I have to solve, but I cannot find a way

Day and night I´m tense, insecure, nervous, confused all the time. I don´t know where I should be or what I should do first. The powerlessness to resolve my situations has me wrapped up in an abyss of uncertainty. I already feel very tired, exhausted, worried about what will happen next and whether I will have the strength to handle all this, Lord.

Oh my God, how long will I wait for you to take me out of this confusion in which I live? I don´t know what decision to make, where to start. That is why I come to You, the God of loving solutions and who does not leave any of the children who come to You in this state waiting.

I trust, Father of goodness, that I will not remain trapped in this desolate place, feeling the weight of my confusions on me. Even if I feel lost and disoriented and sometimes ask myself: "Where are you? Why do you come to my call? I will continue to trust. I know you are carving me up as I continue to struggle. You have never and will never leave me. I know you hear my prayers and know the most secret thoughts in my heart. You know what is happening to me, the reason for my being like this and how long I have to be. But please Lord, don´t be long.

I know that all things are in your care. Each and every hair on my head is counted. I´m still waiting here for your divine intervention. The many worries, problems and different paths to take, which have me confused, will soon have only one direction. And there you will be, to let me know.

Forgive me, Lord, for having allowed my heart to be invaded by doubts, anxiety, worries and fears, and not having trusted You from the beginning. Help me to be patient now, waiting for Your prompt solutions to my conflicts and confusions. I want to look at your face forever and find in it the stillness for my life.

Cleanse my heart of all impatience of the soul that takes me away from You. Help me to remember that it is good to wait for you, that it is good to be patient. As that prophet wrote in your Word in Lamentations: "It is good that one waits quietly for the salvation of the Lord. (3:26).

Now Lord, as I prepare to wait, remind me that your grace does not abandon me, that you are already working in me, even at this moment, without my knowing it. You take me in your hands and continue to carve the best shape for my life, making me feel that there is nothing that can separate me from your love. Nothing and no one can take me away from your healing hands that shape and solve all the confusions of life.

I love You my Lord, Father of my heart, help me to wait the time that is necessary for my renewal and complete peace of heart. Amen
