Biblical quotes. Never underestimate the power of prayer. When we pray in faith, if it is the will of God, that prayer is unstoppable
Prayer is such a powerful force. We underestimate it so much because sometimes we don´t see the tangible results. Prayer can move mountains if only we truly BELIEVE it, God has affirmed it. This biblical quotes affirmed it. If only we knew how powerful prayer can be, we would never lose faith or hope.
From time to time I speak and ask the angels to help me raise my prayer to God, so I try to be in the greatest state of grace possible. I ask the angels to intercede and present my humble request into the hands of the Creator.
None of us is alone in prayer. When you pray your guardian angel is there with you, he joins his prayer to yours and presents it to the Lord, making it a powerful weapon of spiritual struggle that will make you grow in holiness.
Bible quotes that will remind you today of the GREAT POWER of prayer.
How incredible that our prayers made with great faith can do great things, even make a difference in another person.
1. Always ask, look and call.
"Ask, and it will be given to you; search, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to you. 8.Everyone who asks receives; everyone who searches finds; everyone who knocks will have the door opened" (Matthew 7:7-8)
Ask, ask, ask. Many times, the Lord called us to insist on prayer. Why do we give up sometimes? Remember that your times are not God´s, He knows when and how to answer... Keep on asking, seeking and calling.
2. Move mountains with faith.
"Jesus answered, ´In truth I tell you, if you have faith and do not doubt at all, not only will you do what I have done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, "Be pulled up and thrown into the sea," it will be done. 22.And if you have faith, everything you ask for in prayer, you will receive". (Matthew 21:21-22)
I find this incredible! But it´s the word of God. How many things we could do with this power if only we had that faith that the Lord speaks of. Let us learn to say as the father of that demonized young man:
"Lord, I believe, but increase my faith"
3. Prayer: Liberating power against the devil.
"Jesus answered them, ´This kind of demon is driven out only by prayer´" (Mark 9:29)
Prayer is presented to us as a direct communication with God, but also as a great spiritual armor against the devil.
What tremendous power God has given us in prayer that we may even be able to cast out demons in His Name.
4. We must not hesitate.
"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, and he will receive it, for he gives it to all generously, and demands nothing in return. But let him ask in faith without hesitation, for he who hesitates is like the waves of the sea that are raised and carried away by the wind. Let him who is like that not expect to receive anything from the Lord" (James 1:5-7)
Let´s not hesitate at all. Let´s not lose hope. The Lord is kind and faithful, He gives with infinite generosity, He is an inexhaustible source of compassion and is always ready to give us the best, what is convenient for our salvation, but, LET US HAVE FAITH and our prayer will be powerful
5. A way to achieve peace.
"Do not be anxious about anything, and in all circumstances, have recourse to prayer and supplication, accompanied by thanksgiving, to present your requests to God. Then the peace of God, which surpasses all that we can think, will take care of your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:6-7)
This Bible quote is one of my favorites, why? Who doesn´t need peace in their heart?
We are in a world where every time we turn a corner a problem awaits us that afflicts us and steals our peace.
St. Paul gives us the secret formula for achieving peace in the heart: Prayer and Thanksgiving, that is: prayer and Eucharist, since the Eucharist in itself is a thanksgiving.
Never underestimate the power of prayer. When we pray with faith, if it is God´s will, that prayer is unstoppable. And how do we know what God´s will is? Let the Lord answer you:
"If you abide in me and my words abide in you, ask what you will and you shall have it."
This is a promise from the Lord. If we are walking in communion with God and His Church, then we will begin to pray according to God´s will. How do we remain in God? Through the Sacraments of the Church, living according to His commandments, so His Word will live in our hearts.
And then, we will begin to see that our prayers are answered.
