Don´t stop pushing the rock even if you don´t have the strength and everything seems to go wrong, because everything can change with God by your side. Don´t stop pushing the rock just because others encourage you with words of defeat and discouragement and start telling you that "you can´t", remember that many speak from their own experiences. Stay to push the rock and become an example to them.

Even if everything seems to be going badly and you don´t have the strength, continue your struggle, don´t faint, don´t stop pushing the rock because every effort has its fruit in time. Remember these wise words:

"There is a time for everything and a time for everything under the sun." (Ecclesiastes 3:1)

Don´t stop pushing the rock.

Next, I want to tell you a story that I found very inspiring and from which, perhaps, you can learn a great lesson for your life. The story goes like this:

A man was sleeping in his cabin when suddenly a light illuminated the room and God appeared.

The Lord told him that He had a job for him and showed him a large rock in front of the cabin. He explained that he should push the rock with all his strength.

For many years, from sunrise to sunset, the man pushed the cold stone with all his strength... and it did not move, every night the man returned to his cabin very tired and feeling that all his efforts were in vain

As the man began to feel frustrated, the devil decided to enter the game by bringing thoughts to his mind:

"You´ve been pushing that rock for a long time, and it hasn´t moved.

It gave the man the impression that the task he had been given was impossible to accomplish and that he was a failure, these thoughts increased his feeling of frustration and disappointment. The devil said to him:

"Why work all day at this impossible task? Just make a little effort and it will be enough.

The man thought of putting this into practice, but first he decided to pray to the Lord and confess his feelings:

"Lord, I have worked hard for a long time in your service. I have used all my strength to achieve what you asked me to do, but even so, I have not been able to move the rock even one millimetre. What is the matter, why have I failed?"

The Lord answered him with compassion:

"Dear son, when I asked you to serve me and you accepted, I told you that your task was to push against the rock with all your strength, and you have done so.

I never said that I expected you to move it, your task was to push. Now you come to me limp to tell me that you have failed, but have you really failed?

Look at you now, your arms are strong and muscular, your back is strong and tanned, your hands are calloused from the constant pressure, your legs have become hard.

In spite of adversity you have grown a lot and your skills are now greater than they ever were.

True, you have not moved the rock, but your mission was to be obedient and to push to exercise your faith in me. That you have achieved. Now, dear friend, I will move the rock."

Don´t stop pushing the rock and get your strength up.

Sometimes, when we hear the word of the Lord, we try to use our intellect to decipher His will, when in reality God only asks us for obedience and faith in Him.

We must exercise our faith that moves mountains, but aware that it is God who ultimately manages to move them.

• When everything seems to go wrong.
• When you are exhausted from work.
• When people don´t behave the way you think they should.
• When you have no more money to pay your bills.
• When people just don´t understand you.
• When people just don´t understand you.
• When you feel exhausted and powerless.

And also...

• When the storm comes: don´t stop pushing the rock.
• When someone wants to steal your peace: don´t stop pushing the rock.
• When you are in an economic crisis: don´t stop pushing the rock.
• When your marriage is in crisis: don´t stop pushing the rock.
• When you are unemployed: don´t stop pushing the rock.
• When you still reach that dream goal: don´t stop pushing the rock.

You have to push the rock in hard times.

In life´s difficult moments, ask the Lord for help and pray to Jesus to enlighten your mind and heart and guide your steps into new paths of hope.

Give up your fears to the Lord and ask him with a prayer to help you find the path that leads to Him. Leave everything in his hands and put all your effort into it without giving up.

Perhaps, that difficult moment you are going through today and you don´t understand why you are living it, will help you develop your faith muscles and give testimony of God´s glory in your life. Don´t stop pushing the rock, sooner or later, with God´s strength, that problem will give way.

Prayer for strength to keep pushing the Rock.

My Lord and my God, help me in my moments of difficulty. Sometimes it seems that discouragement will win out, but I don´t want to stop pushing the rock and keep going.

You make everything possible, there is nothing that does not bend to the wonderful power of your love to which I have recourse at this moment.

Give me the strength to push the rock, to resist all my burdens and worries and to achieve victory in your blessed name. I love you Lord, I place it in your hands. Amen.
